Book Drop #5: Rittenhouse Square and the Question of What You Do When Something Finds You
Home »
Book Drop #5 is officially out in the world.
On Friday, June 5th, I left Better Daily Self-Care Habits in Rittenhouse Square — either on a park bench in the park itself or inside the PNC Bank branch right on the square. Both felt right. Both felt like the kind of place where the right person might slow down long enough to notice something waiting for them.
This series started as a curiosity. What happens when you leave a book somewhere and just… let it go? No tracking. No guarantees. Just a little trust that it’ll find whoever needs it.
But somewhere along the way, it became something more interesting than a giveaway. It became a question.
What do you do when something finds you?
Do you hold onto it? Do you read it? Do you pass it forward — and if so, do you even notice the moment you’re making that decision?
I don’t have a right answer here. I’m not looking for one. But I am genuinely curious about the journey this book takes, the hands it moves through, and where it finally settles.
If you found this book and you’re passing it along, I’d love it if you made your own video and tagged me. I want to see the chain of custody. I want to watch it travel.
And if you’re keeping it — or if you just stumbled onto this page and you’re wondering what any of this is about — come connect with me. Text Pals, Vista Seekers, the podcast, and every other way I’m showing up are all in one place: mylenasutton.com/invitations.
The book found you. Now let’s see what you do with it.
